The Georgia Athletic Trainers’ Association has named Travis Roper as the recipient of the Warren Morris Sports Medicine Person of the Year Award. Travis is a regional sales representative for Mueller Sports Medicine and serves Georgia as part of his territory.
Known for his friendliness and easy-going personality, Travis is an excellent advocate for the athletic training profession. Any athletic trainer who knows him consider him to be much more than just a salesman because he takes the time to get to know everyone, learn more about them and their practice, and connect them with the best solution to their needs. Travis makes it a point to attend all state symposiums if he can, further building working relationships into friendships. To most ATs in Georgia Travis is just part of the family now – his service is always above and beyond, earning him the respect and trust of all those who benefit from his unfailing energy. He is the embodiment of all that the Warren Morris Sports Medicine Person of Year Award should represent.
