NATM Spotlight: Clayton Faircloth

For National Athletic Training Month in 2022 we are exploring the theme “Providing Health Care Everywhere” and we can’t think of a better way to do that than to showcase some of our own outstanding athletic trainers. Where did you go to school? BS at Georgia College & State University (2014), MS at Middle Tennessee State University (2016)


Current AT Setting: Industrial - WestRock Paper Mill (Dublin, GA)


Employer: Moore Wellness Systems


Years at current job: 2


Who are your “athletes”? Industrial blue collar American workers


What’s your schedule like? Days only. On call PRN as needed.


What do you like most about your job? Injury prevention is at the top of the list. I also get the opportunity to educate the employees on injuries and nutrition.


Any advice for an AT who wants to work in this setting? Reach out to someone working in the industrial setting and ask a lot of questions. If you have the opportunity, go and shadow someone in the field.
